Vidhya “V” Rojanavongse, MS, L.Ac. Senior Instructor

Vidhya “V” Rojanavongse is a licensed acupuncturist with a private practice in New York City since 2005. He graduated from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) in 2005 and upon graduating, he apprenticed directly with Kiiko Matsumoto (2005-present) assisting in her private practice, grand rounds, seminars and has taught by her side as a teaching assistant in student clinics and skills classes at TSCA. V is personally approved by Matsumoto sensei to teach her unique style of acupuncture. V has also trained with many early pioneers of acupuncture in the US including Arya Nielson (Gua Sha), Andy Gamble and Helen Zhang (Herbology), Lori Dechar (Five Element) and Nigel Dawes (shiatsu).

V has over 20 years of teaching experience beginning at TSCA (2005-2019) where he served as a lead clinical supervisor, grand rounds instructor and clinical skills instructor in Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KMS) acupuncture. Currently, he is a clinical supervisor at Pacific College of Health and Science (2020-present) and teaches an elective in introductory and intermediate KMS acupuncture with a specialized student clinic in KMS. He was also a clinic supervisor at the New York College of Health Professions at Bellevue Hospital (2020-2023).

As a prolific instructor rounding out his knowledge and experiences, V is currently an adjunct lecturer in Human Anatomy and Physiology for the City University of New York (CUNY) at LaGuardia Community College (2005-present) and Hunter College School of Health Sciences (2013-present). As a martial artist, V trains in aikido (1992-present) at the New York Aikikai. He has studied directly with the late Yoshimitsu Yamada sensei and the late Seiichi Sugano sensei, both of these great masters were direct students from the founder of aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. Currently, V holds the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) and is an instructor at the New York Aikikai.

Young Ko, MSOM, L.Ac. Senior Instructor

Young S. Ko graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture in 2005 and completed the Certificate of Herbology in 2006 from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA). At TSCA, Young studied with many early pioneers of acupuncture in the US including Kiiko Matsumoto (KMS), Arya Nielsen (Gua Sha), Lorie Dechar (Five Element), Jim McCormick (Five Element and Zero Balancing), Andy Gamble and Helen Zhang (Herbology) and Nigel Dawes (shiatsu).

In 2005, Young interned at the China International Hospital in Beijing. From 2007 through 2009, Young attended the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and returned to TSCA where she held positions as a clinical supervisor, and taught classes in grand rounds, acupuncture and integrative medicine (AIM for western medically trained doctors), and practice management until 2019.

In practice since 2005, Young has a broad range in integrative settings from treating patients in nursing homes and multidisciplinary offices, collaborating with medical professionals across the board including physicians, osteopaths, chiropractors, functional medicine specialists, physical and massage therapists, pain management specialists, and neurologists.

Currently she runs an established closed private practice in Hoboken and Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Young has also supervised clinic in the New Jersey branch of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM) in 2021. Since 2022, Young has been a clinical supervisor at Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS) where she also teaches an elective in the Myology of Trigger Point and continuing education classes at PCHS in introduction and advanced Trigger Points.
